Symphony Sessions

In the fall of 2006, Steve performed a concert of his music with the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra at Winnipeg’s Centennial Concert Hall. The response was so enthusiastic that Steve and manager Dave Zeglinski decided to go into the studio with the WSO.

    There are some concerts you wish would never end – the musicians are playing their hearts out, the audience is fully engaged, the hall sounds great and there is a sense that
    something is happening that is greater than just the sum of the parts. November 18th, 2007 Steve Bell and his band played at the fabulous Francis Winspear Centre for Music in Edmonton with the Edmonton Symphony Orchestra. It was one of those extraordinary evenings!

    And now, because we were able to film that concert, we can offer it on DVD. Nothing beats the real thing, but we shot the film in High Definition and mixed it in 5.1 Dolby Surround Sound to put every viewer in the best seat in the house. Enjoy!
